Important to know!
The prerequisite for our color service is the purchase of one of the following products:
- COLOURLOCKLeather Fresh (customizable)
- COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather (customizable)
- COLOURLOCK Nubuck Fresh (customizable) - for suede/buffalo leather
Before you send us a color sample, please check the following alternative options:
Option 1:
You order a color card from us free of charge.
You can hold the color card up to the leather to check whether a matching standard color is included. The standard colors black and pure white match in 99 percent of cases. For the other colors, we recommend this method for touch-ups where absolute color accuracy is not important.
If you click on Customize for the products Leather Fresh, Nubuk Fresh or Fluid Leather, you can order the matching color under the Standard color button and you do not have to send in a leather sample.
You can request the color card here using a form.
Option 2:
The color you are looking for corresponds to a standardized RAL color.
If you click on Customize for the products Leather Fresh, Nubuk Fresh or Fluid Leather, you can order the matching color under the RAL color button and you do not have to send in a leather sample.
Option 3:
Car leather:
Ask your dealer for the exact color name using the VIN number.
If you click on Customize for the Leather Fresh or Fluid Leather products, you can order the right colour under the button
Special leather/furniture color to check whether we have the right color. If the color is available, you do not need to send in a leather sample.
Furniture leather:
You can find the color of your furniture on the invoice from the furniture store .
If you click on Customize for the Leather Fresh, Nubuk Fresh or Fluid Leather products, you can check under the Special leather/furniture color button whether we already have the right color in stock. If the color is available, you do not need to send in a leather sample.
Please note the following steps:
Step 1: Prepare leather sample
You can simply send us headrests, sun visors, door panels or covers from cars or cushion covers from furniture and also larger color samples. We will send you the samples back with your order.
A leather sample measuring approx. 1x1 cm is also sufficient. In the case of seats or furniture, for example, you can cut this out of the underside of the overhang of the leather cover using a cutter or nail scissors. For furniture, you may need to remove a few staples beforehand.
Step 2: Sending the leather sample
Enclose a copy of your order confirmation (mandatory) with your leather sample and send everything to:

Step 3: Color mixing and return shipment
We mix the color according to your leather sample and send the mixed color together with the leather sample as an insured package back to your address.

If you are not sure whether you can use the product properly, please contact a leather processing company you trust.
