Important:
Test all products on a concealed area first to avoid unwanted changes to the leather.
Wear suitable protective gloves during all work steps.
1. cleaning - the basis for perfect results
1. fill the Leather Cleaner mild completely into the empty foamer bottle
2. pour the foam onto a sponge - never directly onto the leather
3. clean the leather from seam to seam
4. use the leather cleaning brush to remove dirt from deep within the grain
5. lightly moisten the enclosed cloth and remove dirt and cleaner residues
6. allow the leather to dry completely
7. repeat the cleaning process if necessary
2. sanding - for smooth transitions
1. carefully smooth rough areas with the sanding pad
2. remove the sanding dust with a cloth that you have moistened with Degreaser
3. allow the surface to dry well
3. degrease - for optimum adhesion
1. put a few drops of Degreaser on the enclosed cloth and apply it evenly
2. allow the surface to flash off well again
Tip:
Stick masking tape on and peel it off again - if it sticks firmly, the surface is perfectly prepared.
4. coloring - targeted refreshing
1. shake Leather Fresh well
2. apply it dabbing from seam to seam with a sponge - never apply directly to the leather
3. treat only the areas that need to be re-dyed
4. dry each thin layer with a hairdryer in between
5. apply several thin coats for an even result
6. leave the leather to dry for 24 hours after dyeing
Tip:
- Carefully smooth out uneven color application with the sanding pad and then retone
- Only suitable for small areas to freshen up the color
- Can also be used for artificial leather and plastics
- Work particularly carefully with seams of different colors
5. care - for a smooth, protected surface
Before care:
The leather must be dry, clean and free of residue for at least 24 hours.
This is how it works:
1. put a few drops of Leather Care in the enclosed soft cloth
2. apply it thinly and evenly from seam to seam
3. do not polish - simply leave to dry
4. one application is usually sufficient
5. repeat only for extremely dry or highly absorbent leather
Care interval:
- Heavily used leather surfaces (e.g. due to heating, sunlight, frequent use): care every 3 months
- Leather surfaces subject to normal wear: care every 6-12 months
